REV ANDY FYALL
After 13 years job sharing ministry with my wife Helen, I was appointed as Superintendent Minister for the Stamford & Rutland Circuit in 2009. It has been a privilege to oversee the birth of the new Stamford Circuit from September 2017.
My ministry comprises mission, pastoral care and outreach with the churches of the circuit.
I am keen to help people find a living faith and grow in their discipleship of Christ.
Preaching, leading Bible Studies and Worship form a major part of my ministry.
I am delighted to be part of an outward looking circuit and ministry team for whom mission is vitally important.
I enjoy time with the family, and relax by singing in a local chamber choir (St Peters Singers, Peterborough).
Thank you for visiting our circuit website. I hope you will also visit the circuit!

REV BEKKIE WRIGHT
Minister: Empingham, Oakham & Uppingham
I joined the ministry team in the Stamford Circuit in September 2020 as a brand-new probationer minister. I completed the first part of my formal training through the Queen’s Foundation, Birmingham in summer 2020. Having been stationed (or placed) in the Stamford Circuit, I bring with me all the joy which comes from a mixture of starting something new whilst continuing to respond to a call from God which I have felt for many years.
I strongly believe in the practice that I call purposeful discipleship. Embedded from the very beginning of Methodism, it is the deliberate response to God’s love, which asks us to challenge ourselves in a way that enables us to get to know both God and ourselves more deeply. As Methodists ways that we do this include applying scripture to our lives and sharing our stories with each other in community. As a result I enjoy hearing people's stories of their faith journey.
Hobby-wise I do cross-stitch sewing and Iace-making. I am planning to have a go at horse-riding: watch this space to see how that goes!

REV HELEN FYALL
Helen is the Lead Chaplain for the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. Along with the team of chaplains in the trust, Helen provides an invaluable pastoral ministry in the three hospitals of the trust - Peterborough City Hospital, Hinchingbrooke Hospital (Huntingdon) and the Stamford & Rutland Hospital.

PHIL JONES
Circuit Mission Enabler
I live in Deeping St James and I’m married to Debs with 2 grown up children.
I am a trained counsellor and worked with the homeless in Wisbech. I have been a local preacher since aged 17 and worn many “pastoral” hats in the past. I worked at the Methodist Publishing House for 10 years, released for good behaviour. I have a particular interest in ministry to bereaved families and often lead funeral services.
I like walking, good movies, relaxing with the family to watch “Endeavour” or “Fringe” and listen to my favourite music – which includes Jamie Cullum, Lalo Schifrin and the Christian band Caedmon’s Call.
REV WILLIAM BOOKER
William serves us part time as the minister for Ryhall Methodist Church, and as second minister at Stamford. He spends another part of his time as a hospital chaplain. William has been a Methodist minister for over 30 years, spending 13 of them working locally in the charity "Sense", mainly as a horticultural therapist with amazing people with hearing and sight impairments and many other disabilities. He also worked for two years in part time ministry with a Baptist church where he lives in Market Deeping . Rather passionate about organic gardening and green lifestyle, he is married to Lynne and greatly enjoys family life and singing (known locally as "the Alleluia man"!).

REV RUTH CHARLESWORTH
Minister: Bourne, Thurlby and Deepings
Ruth is the minister serving Bourne, Deepings and Thurlby Methodist Churches.

ROWAN SCHOLTZ
Circuit Administrator
Rowan is in the circuit office on Tuesdays from 9am - 3pm. Rowan attends to the administration of the circuit along with Rev Andy Fyall and produces the monthly circuit newsletter. She can be contacted at admin2322@gmail.com

JULIA HUSBANDS
Children, Families & Youth Work Enabler
I joined the Ministry Team as Circuit Children, Families and Youth Work Enabler in January 2022 having taken early retirement from a career in teaching. I first arrived in Stamford in 1984 as a ‘Time for God’ children’s and youth work volunteer so it feels as if God has brought me full circle, having gained a husband, four sons, many friends and a lot of experience in between!
I am excited at being asked to encourage and help develop work with children, families and young people across the Circuit as together we seek to share God’s love through Jesus in schools, in churches and in our local communities.
